Warranty Policy
KonKell 1-Year Limited Warranty
Effective Date: April 2024
At KonKell, we take pride in the quality and reliability of our consumer-grade chainsaw sharpeners and hardware tools. We stand behind our engineering, which is why we offer a comprehensive 1-Year Limited Warranty to our original purchasers.
1. What is Covered?
KonKell warrants that your product will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal, non-commercial use for a period of one (1) year from the date of original delivery.
During this warranty period, if a defect arises in the machinery (such as motor failure, electrical defects, or structural manufacturing flaws), KonKell will, at its sole discretion:
- Provide free replacement parts necessary to repair the product.
- Replace the product with a new or refurbished unit of the same or similar model.
2. What is NOT Covered? (Exclusions)
This warranty is designed to protect you against true manufacturing defects. It does not cover damage or failures resulting from the following:
- Normal Wear and Tear (Consumables): Components that naturally wear out during standard operation are strictly excluded. This includes, but is not limited to, grinding wheels, grinding belts, carbon brushes, and fuses. (Note: Genuine replacement parts and consumables are available for purchase directly on our Accessories Page).
- Commercial or Industrial Use: KonKell sharpeners are explicitly designed for consumer, DIY, and light-duty use. This warranty is voided if the machine is used for continuous, heavy-duty industrial or commercial sharpening services.
- Misuse and Abuse: Damage caused by dropping the machine, applying excessive force, improper installation, or operating the tool outside of the instructions provided in the user manual.
- Unauthorized Modifications: Any alterations, unauthorized repairs, or use of non-KonKell aftermarket parts that cause damage to the original machine.
- Improper Maintenance: Failures due to a lack of cleaning, exposure to extreme weather, rust, or using improper power sources (e.g., incorrect voltage).
- Second-hand Purchases: This warranty extends only to the original purchaser who bought the item directly from konkell.com and is non-transferable.
3. Need Replacement Parts?
Even if your part is a consumable or falls outside the warranty period, we’ve got you covered. You can easily find genuine KonKell replacement grinding wheels, belts, and other essential accessories directly on our website to keep your sharpener running at peak performance.

4. How to Claim Your Warranty
If you experience an issue with your KonKell product after our standard 30-Day Return window but within the 1-year warranty period, please follow these steps:
- Contact Support: Email our technical team at kkservice@konkell.com. Please include your Order Number, a detailed description of the problem, and clear photos or a short video demonstrating the issue.
- Troubleshooting: Our engineers will review your case and may suggest troubleshooting steps. Many issues can be resolved quickly with a simple adjustment or by sending a replacement part.
- Warranty Fulfillment: If the unit or part is deemed defective under this policy, we will ship the replacement part or unit. Please note: For warranty claims made after 30 days from the original delivery date, the customer is responsible for any shipping costs associated with sending replacement parts or units.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, KonKell’s liability under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the defective product. KonKell shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of time, loss of use, or property damage) arising out of the use or inability to use the product.
