KonKell Refund Policy

At KonKell, we strive to make our financial processes as transparent as our return rules. This Refund Policy outlines how, when, and under what conditions refunds are issued following an order cancellation or a successful return of our machinery and hardware tools.
1. Order Cancellations (Pre-Shipment Refunds)
If you request an order cancellation within 24 hours of placement AND before the order has been processed or dispatched from our warehouse, we will issue a 100% full refund immediately. The funds will be routed back to your original payment method.
Note: Once a tracking number is generated or the package is handed to the carrier, the order cannot be canceled, and any refund must be processed as a standard return after you receive the item.
2. Refunds for Returned Items
Refund amounts depend on the timing and reason for your return, in accordance with our Return Policy:
- 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee (Days 1-7): Items returned within 7 days of delivery are eligible for a full refund of the product price. KonKell covers the return shipping cost.
- Defective Products (Days 8-30): If a machine is proven defective within 30 days, you are eligible for a full refund or a replacement. KonKell covers all shipping costs.
- Discretionary Returns (Days 8-30): If you return an item because you changed your mind or ordered the wrong model, your refund will be the product price MINUS applicable fees (see section 3 below). The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
3. Deductions & Non-Refundable Fees
Please be aware of the following conditions that may reduce your total refund amount:
- Original Shipping Costs: Any expedited or standard shipping fees paid at the time of checkout are strictly non-refundable.
- Restocking Fee (Up to 15%): For discretionary returns (Days 8-30), if the opened product shows signs of handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, a restocking fee of up to 15% will be deducted from your refund.
- Anti-Abuse Deduction (Up to 20%): For any return, if the machine is returned heavily soiled, damaged, or missing original accessories/manuals, we reserve the right to deduct up to 20% to cover the depreciation and repacking of the goods, or reject the refund entirely.
4. Refund Processing & Timelines
We process refunds methodically to ensure accuracy:
- Inspection Period: Once your return arrives at our New Jersey or California warehouse, please allow 3 to 5 business days for our technical team to inspect the machine and verify its condition.
- Refund Issuance: Upon successful inspection, we will automatically initiate the refund to your original method of payment (Credit Card, PayPal, etc.). You will receive an automated email notification confirming the refund.
- Bank Processing Time: After we issue the refund, it takes time for your financial institution to post the funds. Please allow an additional 5 to 10 business days for the credit to appear on your bank or credit card statement.
5. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund within the expected timeframe, please follow these steps:
- First, check your bank account again.
- Next, contact your credit card company or PayPal; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
- If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at support@konkell.com.
